All moved in!

We had tons of help last Saturday on moving day! It was really awesome and such a blessing!

Greg, Dennis, Doug, Bob, Don, Rick, Kirt and John (hope I’m not missing anyone!) helped move everything out of our apartment and into the truck Gary borrowed from work and also into the guys’ trucks and cars. Betty and Edie came and helped pack the last things (like the fridge) and Edie vacuumed our whole apartment for me.

Then at the house, Pastor David and his wife Vanessa, Michelle, Andrea, Betty and Edie all came to help there The women all helped by sweeping the bedrooms and unpacking and putting away all the kitchen stuff. Seriously, that is a huge job and I was thankful I didn’t have those things to do after everything got moved to the house, cuz I was wiped out! My feet felt like they were gonna fall off and my body felt exhausted. Before everyone left we circled together and David, Doug and Kirt prayed over the house and the time everyone took out of their day to help us. It really is a family that we have at that little white church. I didn’t get any pics on moving day and I really wanted to but completely forgot once things got going.

The move only took 4 hours. It all seemed to go so fast and almost a week later I’m still sitting here with boxes all over the place xD. Mostly I don’t know what to do with a lot yet since we’re in a much bigger place and half our stuff was in storage for the past 2+ years. I figure it will all get unpacked eventually.

The kids are registered at their new school, we even got a tour and saw where the kids will have their classrooms. It took us 10 minutes to walk there yesterday. On the way back home, I found a path that isn’t on the road which was nice. There isn’t a lot of walking space on the side of the road here.

I do have a few pics but I haven’t taken them off my camera yet. I got internet turned back on only yesterday.
